Kick off your summer with a scenic tour of 12 outstanding private colleges and universities in western Virginia—sponsored by the Educational Foundation of the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV). Colleges on the Western Tour 2008 and Eastern Tour 2008 are listed below. Learn about Virginia's diverse colleges.

You will visit highly selective institutions and those serving the average college-bound student. Co-educational and single-sex colleges. Colleges in rural settings and colleges in small cities. Return to your high school next fall better informed and able to recommend Virginia private colleges based on first-hand knowledge.

The Western Tour will begin and end at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. A $75 registration fee and your travel costs to and from Roanoke (Hollins) will be your only expenses. Meals and hotel lodging are provided.
